Armed robbery in city center as police release images of men they want to speak to

A man was robbed of cash at gunpoint in the city centre. Police have released photographs of two men they want to speak to.

The incident happened on Bishopsgate Street in broad daylight. The victim was threatened with a gun and a sum of money was stolen, police said.




No arrests have yet been made. Police inquiries continue.

Taking to X, formerly Twitter, Birmingham Police posted: “#APPEAL | Do you recognize these two men? We want to speak to them following an armed robbery on Bishopsgate in Birmingham on March 18 at around 1.50pm. The victim was threatened with a gun and a sum of cash was stolen.
