Coronation Street’s Kate Ford swooned after her co-star’s special update.

The soap star is famous for her role as Tracy Barlow on Cobbles. Viewers were shocked last month when the iconic character left Weatherfield for a new life in Spain after splitting from Steve McDonald.

Tracy left to pursue her romance with new boyfriend Steve Orpington, and ex-husband Steve struggled with her departure. Spoilers for next week’s episodes revealed that Tracy will be referenced again next week as a disappointed Steve goes through her social media feeds to see pictures of her paragliding across the Mediterranean with Tommy.

Away from the screen, Kate is active on her social media channels and enjoys a close friendship with her co-stars. Yesterday marked Abi Webster star Sally Carman’s birthday.

Sally is happily in a relationship with Tim Metcalfe star Joe Duttine. Joe took to social media to share a photo of Abi alongside the caption: ‘Birthday girl.’

Kate weighed in on the comments and said: “I love this pic x”

Co-star Sally Dynevor wished Sally well, saying: “Happy birthday @sally_carman__ Have a lovely day xxxx” Claire Sweeney sent a heartfelt message on Instagram, while the Liverpudlian TV star said: ” Happy birthday to this beautiful talented lady, one of the nicest people I know.”
