The transfer window for Premier League and EFL clubs officially opens on Friday, with clubs finalizing plans for their summer deals. Manchester United, Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool have already been linked with big bids.

All four clubs will be looking to topple Manchester City next season after Pep Guardiola’s side secured a fourth straight title in a row. City themselves will want to stay ahead of the competition and shouldn’t be ruled out of a few money-spinning transfers.

Aston Villa will strengthen their squad ahead of their Champions League campaign, while Newcastle will be looking to improve after failing to qualify for Europe. We may even see deals come much earlier this summer, with PSR’s cut-off point for the 2023-24 season landing on June 30.

Liverpool could hijack Chelsea for an exciting striker

Liverpool could thwart Chelsea’s move for Crysencio Summerville this summer.

There have been reports that the Reds have pulled out of the race to sign the winger, leaving Chelsea as one of the most obvious possible destinations should he leave Leeds.

However, Fabrizio Romano reports that Liverpool remain interested in Summerville.

The Merseysiders could decide to beat Chelsea to the signing of the exciting 22-year-old.

Arsenal could lose the prolific child prodigy

Bayern Munich are reportedly in advanced talks with Arsenal wonderkid Chido Obi.

Obi scored 43 goals in 42 games last season, primarily for the Gunners’ U18s.

The 16-year-old is in talks over a scholarship deal with a number of clubs, with Academy Scoop claiming Bayern Munich are in “advanced discussions”.

It remains unclear whether Arsenal will offer improved terms.

Man Utd’s £34m offer

Manchester United are in the race to sign Bologna forward Joshua Zirkzee, reports Sky Sports.

Zirkzee is hot property across Europe with many clubs linked with a deal for the American.

The former Bayern Munich star has a £34m release clause in his contract.
