Liverpool youngster Ramsay outlines Wigan’s ambitions

Scottish youngster Calvin Ramsay left Liverpool with an important point to prove.

The right-back wants to show that he is Premier League starting material in the future.

He had two injury-hit seasons at Anfield, but is now set to join Wigan Athletic in League One on loan.

“I’m excited about the start of the season, really,” Ramsay said Latics TV.

“When I was driving to the training ground, it was a real thrill.

“I don’t know what it was, just wanting to go out and show everyone what I can do and probably prove a few people wrong too who said a few things or doubted me.”
