Metal risk in Morrisons meat and other food recalled so far in June

Morrisons wafer-thin ham which may contain small pieces of metal is just one of the food recalls issued so far this month by the Food Standards Agency (FSA). The agency has made six announcements so far in June, including products that fail to identify allergens, the risk of illness and even the risk of beer cans exploding.

The risk of explosion is from Juice Forsyth beer cans. The FSA’s website states: “There is a risk that the cans could explode, which could cause injury.”

Meanwhile, Aldi has recalled some of its chicken wraps because of a misprinted best-before date on some packages, and packaging from the Real Wrap Company may contain listeria.
