All Sheffield Wednesday fans are sending a clear message to Danny Rohl regarding Bailey Cadamarteri

Sheffield Wednesday fans have debated Bailey Cadamarteri’s future at the club.

Bailey Cadamarteri joined the Sheffield Wednesday academy in 2014 before bursting onto the scene last season.

The striker was brought into the first team shortly after the arrival of Danny Rohl, before making his Championship debut in November.

Cadamarteri scored his first professional goal in his second start for the club, becoming a regular in the starting lineup until Ike Ugbo joined on loan.

The Canadian’s arrival forced the 19-year-old to settle for a place on the bench in the second half of the campaign, and he eventually finished the season with five goals in 25 games.

While Cadamarteri is clearly valued at Hillsborough, it remains to be seen what role he will play in Rohl’s first full campaign in charge.

The Owls are working hard to bring Ugbo back to the club, while they are also interested in signing Arsenal striker Mika Biereth.

With an experienced striker likely to arrive this summer, Cadamarteri will have a big challenge on his hands to force his way back into the lineup.

Wednesday fans were now divided over whether the teenager should be given a chance in the team next term or if he should be allowed to leave on loan. Although one thing they all agree on is that he is a very promising player for Wednesday’s future.

Here’s how supporters reacted to the question “Til I Die” Wednesday. Podcast what should happen to him next season.

Sheffield Wednesday fans have their say on Bailey Cadamarteri

concludes Bailey Cadamarteri

It seems fair to say that most Sheffield Wednesday fans would like to see Bailey Cadamarteri sent out on loan.

The forward has impressed with spells in the starting line-up but has never been ready to consistently lead the line and has only really been brought in due to a lack of options.

If the Owls can now contribute to their attack and not have to rely on Cadamarteri, then they can send him on loan to a Ligue 1 club.

He will undoubtedly light up the third tier while being guaranteed the minutes he deserves to help him develop as a player.

If the youngster can hit double figures in League One then fans could be very excited about the player returning in a year’s time.
