Jollyes confirms official opening date for Nuneaton Curry’s new Old World PC branch

Jollyes has revealed its first branch in Nuneaton will open in just a few weeks. The official opening of the new store, which includes a pet clinic, will take place on Friday 28 June.

Instead of a ribbon cutting, three retired Warwickshire police dogs will be biting into a string of sausages to officially open the branch. It is based in the former home of Curry’s PC World, opposite the Asda supermarket.




The Nuneaton store will be Jollyes’ 103rd branch in the UK. Later this year, she is set to open a community pet clinic offering low-cost veterinary services such as microchipping and vaccinations.

The new branch, which has afraw food store rozen in store, created nine new jobs. In addition to retired police dogs, the city’s general election candidates were also invited to the official opening.

Like Countess Bathurst, and National Foundation for Retired Service Animals (NFRSA) founder and chairman, former High Sheriff of Gloucestershire, alongside NFRSA ambassador and England rugby player Lewis Ludlow. Jollyes raises funds for NFRSA through all its stores.
