NPD is seeking the public’s help in identifying the suspect caught stealing packages on Enfield Ave.

NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) – The Norfolk Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying a package theft suspect.

New video shows a man allegedly stealing items from the front doors of homes along West Little Creek Road.

Detectives say the man took two packages from the North Shore Garden Apartments on May 8.

The man was caught on home video on Enfield Avenue. around 19:15

George Robinson, a resident for several years, said it was concerning because he relies on package deliveries every day.

“I order a lot of things offline, I order food online. My medicine comes in the mail,” Robinson said. “When I get my packages, I tell them, I ring the bell, I’m home.”

Now they hope to see more police patrols and additional security improvements at the apartment complex.

“I think that would deter people from stealing if they see the security here,” Robinson said.
