Bradford property fire ruled ‘deliberate’

A FIRE at a property in Bradford is believed to have been deliberately started, West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service (WYFRS) has said.

Firefighters were dispatched to Bowling Hall Road around 12pm on Tuesday.

Three fire engines attended and four firefighters had to wear breathing apparatus to deal with the blaze.

WYFRS says initial indications of the cause are that it was “intentional”.

Crews from Odsal, Shipley and Fairweather Green stations attended along with a CLM vehicle.

A West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesman added: “Crews had left by 1.15pm.

“No casualties.

“Initial indications are that it was a deliberate fire.”
