Leicester City offer Ndidi a new two-year contract

Leicester City have offered Super Eagles midfielder Wilfred Ndidi a new two-year deal, reports Completesports.com.

The Foxes have returned to the Premier League after spending just one season in the Sky Bet Championship.

The former Premier League champions are desperate to keep hold of Ndidi.

The 27-year-old is currently in talks with Leicester City over a new contract.

According to the Leicester Mercury, the Foxes want the player to stay at the King Power Stadium for many more years.

However, the financial details of the defensive midfielder’s new deal have not been disclosed.

Ndidi joined Leicester from Belgian Pro League side KRC Genk for £15 million in 2017.

He made 273 appearances in all competitions, scoring 17 goals and providing 17 assists.
