Amazon’s £8 ‘cure’ cream ‘completely heals’ dry, cracked skin and eczema

Amazon shoppers are praising an £8 cream they say ‘beats’ more expensive options and ‘cures’ eczema. The product has garnered rave reviews, with buyers saying the cream “completely healed” their dry, cracked skin.

Balmonds Skin Salvation Moisturizing Balm is priced at £7.99 and uses a blend of high quality ingredients to support the skin’s barrier function. The natural ointment can be used for babies, children and adults.

Balmonds Skin Salvation Balm is fragrance-free and made with omega-rich oils and beeswax to “lock in moisture and soften rough or flaky skin”. It is safe and effective for hands, face, body and scalp and reduces the risk of irritation or itching.

The conditioner has a 4.2-star rating on Amazon after racking up a number of rave reviews. Among them, one person said: “I really like this cream, I’ve had a patch of dry, red skin for months, it’s completely healed after using this cream for two weeks. Very impressed”.

A second wrote: “I waited a few days to review this cream to see if it lived up to the hype and it did. This is the most effective cream I have found to heal my extremely dry patches that I have had for years. I’ve tried all the expensive creams out there and this one beats them all.

“It was delivered a day earlier than I expected and I applied it straight away. After a few days the results are fantastic, it gradually softens the very rough and dry skin area, leaving it smooth and soft. I will order again and may also try other products from the same company. I recommend this to anyone who has the same problem as me.

A third buyer said: “Still early days but used it for the first time today and so far so good, it stopped itching almost instantly. We’ll see how it goes, but amazing service and it arrived on time.”

Another added: “I’ve had eczema on my hands all my life and I’m often told by professionals that it’s one of the worst they’ve seen (followed by a prescription for emollient and betnovate rubbish). I have tried all kinds of creams and tried desperately to get off the steroids as it is the only thing that helps the pain.

“Not only does this cream work by relieving the inflammation/itching, but it heals the cracks/cuts quickly and speeds up the healing process. I no longer have to use steroid cream or continue my 30 year search for cream!”

However, one customer said: “I bought this product to help my eye eczema and over my eyebrows, the only thing it caused was irritation inside my eyes. The redness hasn’t gone away, it’s an oily product and that’s it. . I wish I could get my money back.”

A second wrote: “This cream didn’t work for me at all sorry. I applied it twice a day for over a month. It didn’t irritate my sensitive skin, but it didn’t help the red spots either. No worse than it was, but back to square one.”
