The Bradford County road was closed after a truck hit the bridge

A road is closed in Bradford County due to a tractor trailer hitting a bridge over Sugar Creek.

According to PennDOT, Route 6 is closed between Route 4017 (Leona Road) and Route 3034 (Mud Creek Road) in Troy Township.

The Bradford County Department of Public Safety says the closure is expected to be long-term.

There is a detour via Leona Road, Route 4014 (Springfield Road) and Route 14.

Drivers should use caution, slow down and expect travel delays.
