Giants Women vs Leeds to support Motor Neurone Disease Association

Sunday’s Women’s Super League match at Laund Hill against Rhinos will be dedicated to the MNDA in memory of Rob Burrow CBE.

Following the death of rugby league legend Rob Burrow CBE, Huddersfield Giants Women have decided to dedicate Sunday’s game against Leeds Rhinos to the Motor Neurone Disease Association – a charity that Rob proudly represented and patronized in during his fight with MND.

Currently, there is no cure for the disease, although through the funds raised by MNDA, researchers hope that one day there won’t be.

There will be MNDA t-shirts and goodies for purchase, with all profits going to the charity. In addition to a bucket collection, there will be a raffle for a Giants and Rhinos autographed shirt, with all proceeds to be donated to the MNDA. HGSA has also agreed to donate proceeds from the Golden Gamble halftime draw to the MNDA.

The Clubhouse will be open with a wide range of food and drinks available for purchase. Cash and card payments are accepted around the grounds.

Parking is free, although it will also be limited on a first-come, first-served basis. Dogs are not allowed at Laund Hill, with the exception of guide dogs.

Admission prices are as follows: Adults £6 | U16 £2 | Under 5 FREE
