Leeds United are one of the latest clubs in the race to sign Callum O’Hare as his contract at Coventry City nears expiry.

Despite no longer being one of the three newly relegated clubs looking to punch their weight in the Championship, Leeds still represent one of the biggest players in the division.

With that, the club could look for key players from some of the other parts of the league to strengthen the squad for 24/25.

Leeds are joining the race to sign rebel Callum O’Hare on a Coventry City contract

TEAMtalk report this week that Leeds are the latest club to join the list of those looking for upcoming free agent Callum O’Hare.

The Coventry City attacking midfielder is out of contract at the end of the month and has turned down offers to stay under Mark Robins.

Other clubs interested in O’Hare include newly promoted Southampton as well as Leeds’ Championship rivals Burnley.

Happy to have Aaronson back?

Leeds are said to be monitoring the 26-year-old’s situation and are now ready to make a move for him on a free transfer.

O’Hare had a knee injury nightmare previously but returned to shine for the Sky Blues last season with 36 appearances, scoring 10 and assisting four in all competitions.

O’Hare will be a coup for whichever club signs him

As much as O’Hare will be sought after by a number of Championship clubs, it is hard to see him being a Leeds player.

With a high-earning attacking midfielder returning in Brenden Aaronson, it seems like a stretch to go for O’Hare on a free as well.

It would be nice to have a new attacking midfielder at the club, but the commitment to Aaronson seems to speak volumes for the plans there.
