The £100m player is convinced either Chelsea or Manchester United will sign him this summer

Reports claim that one top player is still absolutely convinced he could land at Chelsea this summer.

The Blues have already been busy in this transfer market, completing a move to sign Tosin Adarabioyo on a free transfer ahead of a number of Premier League rivals.

With a new manager in the form of Enzo Maresca, it appears the club are looking to bolster him with multiple signings in various positions.

Striker is a position they are looking to strengthen, and throughout last season, their number one reported target was Victor Osimhen.

Victor Osimhen convinced that Chelsea could sign him

Regarded as one of the best strikers in world football, it was clear that the Napoli man was not going to be on the move for less than his reported £100m release clause.

The player is believed to be keen to move on and, according to Calcio Napoli, is convinced a club like Chelsea will make a move for him this summer.

The piece goes on to say that both Arsenal and Manchester United are clubs he could see himself playing for as the game prepares for what could be one of the most expensive transfers in history.

It remains to be seen what Chelsea plan to do in the top flight, with another of their top targets now apparently off the market.

Chelsea miss out on Benjamin Sesko

It has been claimed that they are keen on a deal for Benjamin Sesko, however he has committed his immediate future to current club RB Leipzig.

The latest reports have linked them with a deal for Aston Villa man Jhon Duran following their interest in January.

Fabrizio Romano has stated that the Blues are looking for a quick solution to the striker scenario and it can be believed that a final result is not too far away, whichever way they go.
