The Warriors have turned their attention to Friday night’s Betfred Super League game against Castleford Tigers and at the Round 14 fixture, Thompson said: “It’s good to be back in the training paddock. The biggest challenge this week will be getting the mental part right and making sure we’re ready to go again with the right attitude.”

On facing Castleford Tigers, Thompson said: “We know the threats that Castleford present and that playing in their place is always a challenge. Everyone can see that he has improved as the season has gone on, so we have to make sure we start with the right intensity and show that we are ready for the occasion.”
