Bradford County man convicted of making terroristic threats

TOWANDA, Pa. (WBNG) — The Bradford County District Attorney’s Office announced Thursday that an Ulster, Pa. man. was jailed after making terroristic threats in January.

Prosecutors said Sebastian A. Schultz, 26, will serve 18 months to a maximum of 60 months in prison.

Schultz was convicted of possession of a firearm with an altered manufacturer’s serial number, a felony, in the second degree. He was previously convicted of making terroristic threats, a misdemeanor, in the first degree.

On Jan. 24, Pennsylvania State Police responded to a residence on Battle Creek Road in Rome Township, Pa. after Schultz was accused of making threats against an ex-girlfriend and barricading himself in a residence.

Shults will be subject to an additional 24 months of state supervision after that sentence. If he violates the terms of that supervision or commits a new crime, his supervision can be revoked and he can be sentenced again to harsher penalties, including more time in prison.
