‘Amazing’ £32 make-up spray that ‘lasts for hours in the rain’

Beauty fans are heaping praise on a £32 setting spray that “lasts for hours” even in the cold and rain. With the ever-changing weather and some of the biggest events of the year on the way, many beauty lovers will be eager to find a way to keep their makeup looking perfect, come rain or shine.

Shoppers claim the Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Setting Spray “lasted for 15 hours” and labeled it “amazing” and a “dream”. One fan said their make-up ‘looked perfect’ after being caught in the rain.

According to the product description, the setting spray “primes weightlessly and lasts up to 16 hours.” It’s meant to “instantly lock in your look for makeup magic that looks ‘just applied.’

The Charlotte Tilbury product works to create a “veil of weightless hydration” and a “flawless-looking finish” without melting, fading or creasing.

The setting spray has an overall rating of 4.6 stars with over 3,000 positive reviews. Many of the reviews praise the product for its durability regardless of the weather.

Among them, one person said: “Amazing! I’ve tried many setting sprays, drugstore and high end, and none come close to this one. Once I set my face with this, the makeup won’t budge. I’ve been rained on while wearing this and my makeup doesn’t budge.”

A second wrote: “I got the setting spray last week and used it for a night out with my friends. I got home at 3am and my makeup was still PERFECT. I haven’t had a setting spray that really lasts this long.

“The spray is also amazing. It’s a perfect mist so it doesn’t feel heavy on the face and doesn’t clog the sprayer and spit product on your face.”

A third buyer added: “I used it for a concert I was going to. I did my makeup at 9am and it took hours of waiting outside in the cold and rain and hours of sitting in a concert hall. I really expected my makeup to be kind of smudged by the time I got home at 12:00 AT NIGHT, but when I went to put on my makeup and saw my face in the mirror, I was shocked because it looked like I just put on makeup, even though i did it 15 hours ago.

“IT LASTED A PERFECTLY FINE HOURS and probably would have lasted even longer if I hadn’t taken it off. I am extremely impressed with this setting spray, would highly recommend it to anyone, I have recommended it to all my friends and I will never shut up about how good it is!!!”

Another added: “I’ve never used a setting spray before but thought I’d give it a try and it really is amazing. My makeup lasts all day without needing to top it off and it still looked perfect after I got caught in the rain. . It’s a dream.”

However, some buyers were less than impressed. One person wrote: “My makeup is still smudged. I was disappointed because it has so many reviews.”

A second said: “To be honest, I’m a little disappointed that this setting spray doesn’t hold my makeup all day.” Another added: “Had my make up come apart and slide off didn’t like it at all… very disappointing.”
