Jayden Okunbor is extending his move to Bradford Bulls after impressing on loan from Hull FC

Jayden Okunbor will spend the next four weeks on loan at Bradford Bulls after Hull FC agreed an extension. The 27-year-old joined the Championship outfit on an initial one-month loan deal in May.

Since then, Okunbor has made three appearances to date for the Bulls. He scored on his debut against Sheffield Eagles and never looked back, playing either at center or on the wing and adding another try to his tally against Barrow Raiders.

Appearing in the back row for the Black and Whites, Okunbor has had a difficult start to the season at Hull. He played in all eight games under Tony Smith but did not play under Simon Grix.

Instead, Okunbor played for the club’s reserves at St Helens and Warrington Wolves, the player, who has impressed many figures at the Bulls with his demeanor and performances, now ready for more game time in West Yorkshire.

Bradford head coach Eamon O’Carroll, formerly of Hull FC, said: “We are delighted to be able to extend Jayden’s loan for a further four weeks. He has been a real positive influence on the group since he came to our club.

“It’s really nice and I feel like every week he’s been with us he’s getting better and better. I’d like to thank Adam Pearson and Richie Myler at Hull FC for their support and giving us the opportunity to work with Jayden.”
