Nuneaton’s Fever nightclub to close for £750,000 with ‘farewell party’

Nuneaton’s Fever nightclub is to close for a huge £750,000 makeover. It comes as the venue has been taken over by Epic Bars and Clubs.

The company, which previously owned the Newdegate Street nightspot, says it has taken back ownership of the club. With it comes the massive makeover, which will play out next month.

It has been called a “redevelopment” and the firm says it will create a further 30 jobs at the site. He also said he would restore the venue, which was once part of Riley’s snooker club, “to its former glory.

“We’re delighted to be returning to our beloved Nuneaton site and are gearing up to bring our Epic brand of magic to the city,” said Nick Martindale, the company’s PR director. “This acquisition has been many months in the making and we are extremely pleased to be able to confirm it.

“We have something amazing planned and we at Epic can’t wait for everyone to see it. Not only is Nuneaton’s night out firmly back on the map, but we’re going to make it undeniably better than ever.”

On Saturday, July 29, there will be a “Farewell Fever” party, with rapper M Dot R taking the stage. This will be the last night before closing for refurbishment.
