The Coventry woman ’caused havoc’ during a six-month crime spree

A prolific Coventry thief who stole nearly £4,000 worth of items has been jailed. Lisa Donnelly was said to have ’caused mayhem’ during a six-month crime spree in Warwickshire.

Donnelly stole items including perfume, cosmetics and clothes from shops in Leamington, Kenilworth, Warwick and Stratford. Police said the offenses took place between January and June 2024.

Officers arrested Donnelly on Tuesday, June 4, after she set off security alarms when she shoplifted from a shop in the Parade in Leamington Spa. A description of the 35-year-old woman was shared and she was nearby, Warwickshire Police said.
