Suspected drug dealer across county lines named

A suspect was named after a county lines investigation.

Michael Underwood, 30, of Derby Road in Southport was arrested on Thursday June 13 by Merseyside Police following an investigation. He was subsequently charged with being involved in the supply of class A drugs (cocaine and ecstasy), being involved in the supply of class B drugs (cannabis and ketamine) and acquiring/using/possessing criminal property (money laundering).




He appeared at Wirral Crown Court today, Friday June 14, and was remanded in custody at a later date. Project Medusa is the Merseyside-led initiative to tackle drug trafficking and criminal exploitation across the country.
