Nobody’s Child’s ‘Dream’ Summer Dress That You Don’t Have To Iron And Perfect For Weddings

Fashion fans, get ready to run because Nobody’s Child just dropped “the dress you’ve all been waiting for.” That’s right – the Red Floral Zelda Midi Dress debuted online this week and is expected to fly off the shelves in no time.

The brand caused a stir on social media two months ago when it first hinted at the clothing, prompting eager comments from followers such as “When is this arriving please? I have a wedding I need this dress for’ and ‘Guys, it’s still there. not on the web, I check constantly!”

Retailing at £89, the viral dress is made entirely from recycled materials, making it a dream find for those who prioritize sustainability. It comes in sizes 4-18, ensuring it’s a perfect choice for anyone looking to impress at summer events, whether they’re going on holiday or attending a wedding.

Featuring a round neck and a flattering A-line skirt that gently flows over the figure, the dress also features a stunning open back with a key opening button. The cleverly built-in bow detail hides any straps so you can wear your regular bra without a problem, the Mirror reports.

With on-trend puff sleeves and a classic floral pattern, the dress is also made from crinkled satin fabric, meaning there’s no ironing required – a godsend for those packing for a trip.

It has already reached hundreds of online shopping carts and has become one of the top sellers on the Nobody’s Child website, according to the retailer. On the brand’s Instagram account, fans expressed their admiration for the dress with comments such as ‘Love it’, ‘Gorgeous’ and ‘Dreamy’.

However, one reviewer added, “if it was a lovely cotton material.” There has been quite a bit of discussion about whether polyester or recycled cotton is greener – both have benefits and drawbacks.

Recycled polyester is generally made from used plastic bottles and is therefore an attractive choice for those who want fashion that minimizes plastic waste in landfills and oceans. However, it still involves considerable energy for production, although less than new polyester.

On the other hand, cotton, celebrated for its breathability and texture, is a natural and endlessly recyclable fabric. But it is often criticized because of the large amounts of water and land it requires. Ultimately it comes down to personal preference, with Nobody’s Child using a combination of both in their designs.

One thing’s for sure though – this ruched satin midi dress is a total showstopper. Paired with high heels, it’s a sophisticated outfit for a special event, but can also be worn casually with flat sandals on a summer day.
