Man found dead in River Brent by Hanwell Lock – EALING.NEWS – The Voice of Ealing 7 towns

A man’s body was found in the River Brent by Green Lane/Hanwell Lock in Hanwell, near The Fox pub.

The Metropolitan Police said they were called at 3.13pm today (14 June 2024) to reports that a body had been seen in the water.

In a statement, a spokesman for the Met Police said: “Upon police arrival, a body was discovered and later recovered from the water. The man was unfortunately pronounced dead at the scene.”

They added: “Efforts are being made to identify the man’s next of kin and an investigation is ongoing. A cordon is currently in place at the location.”
