Sheffield shooting: Second arrest after shots fired at home

A second man has been arrested after “several shots” were fired at a property in Sheffield, police said.

Police were called to reports of shots fired on Gresley Road in the Lowedges area just after 10.30pm BST on Wednesday 24 April. No one was injured.

A 27-year-old man was arrested Wednesday on suspicion of possessing a firearm with intent to endanger life. He has been released on bail pending further enquiries.

A 25-year-old man, arrested on May 31, has also been released on bail. Anyone with information is urged to contact South Yorkshire Police.
