Eight devastating words in Kate Middleton’s cancer update

Kate Middleton has published an update on her battle with cancer – but heartbreakingly warned ‘I’m not out of the woods yet’. The Princess of Wales, 42, revealed tonight that she is continuing with chemotherapy following her diagnosis earlier this year.

She revealed that she will continue treatment for “a few more months” while talking about “good days and bad days”. Kate revealed that although she feels weak and tired at times, she is making good progress and has returned to work at home, taking some appointments and will attend the major Trooping the Color ceremony, also known as the King’s Day Parade, tomorrow.

But Kate said heartbreakingly: ‘I’m looking forward to attending The King’s Birthday Parade this weekend with my family and hopefully joining some public engagements over the summer, but equally knowing I’m not out of the woods yet. I’m learning how to be patient, especially with uncertainty.

“Taking each day as it comes, listening to my body and allowing myself to take this much needed time to heal. Thank you so much for your continued understanding and to all of you who have so bravely shared your stories with me.”

Kate will join her three children George, 10, Princess Charlotte, nine, and Prince Louis, five, in a state carriage on The Mall for Trooping the Color . Prince William will take part in the military parade on horseback.

The Princess wanted to take part to show support for her children, family and her love for the King, who is also undergoing cancer treatment.
