People in Crosby are divided over whether a Labor government will be a force for good.

Straddling the parliamentary constituencies of Sefton Central and Bootle, the town of Crosby is one of the wealthiest areas of Merseyside.




With every seat in Merseyside potentially returning Labor victories on July 4, in the run-up to the general election we’re asking people across the city region for their views.

Today I took to the streets of Crosby asking locals: “Will life get better under a Labor government?”


The responses we received came from across the political spectrum. Unsurprisingly for a city spread across two Labour-held constituencies, many people shared with us their optimism for a potential Labor government.

Crosby’s Michelle Fisher was one of those who believed things would indeed improve if Labor won the July vote.
