Coventry man charged with shoplifting

A MAN has been charged over a series of shoplifting offenses in Coventry.

David Wills, 37, of Coventry, was charged with 15 counts of shoplifting and five counts of breaching a criminal behavior order.

The offenses were committed in May and June, mainly in retail parks in Coventry – Wills was remanded in custody to appear at Coventry Magistrates Court today (June 14).

West Midlands Police said they routinely carry out high-visibility patrols in retail areas alongside the activity to track and catch criminals.
