The Yard and Glamorous Coventry raised £600 for Mind

THE YARD and Glamorous Coventry announced their successful fundraising efforts after raising a total of £600 for CW Mind during Mental Health Awareness Week.

Through a series of collaborative pop-up events, special blue food and drink promotions and generous donations from both venues and their customers, this joint scheme has made a significant contribution to supporting mental health programs in the local community.

Richard Easter, owner of The Yard Coventry, and Martin Parsonage, managing director of Glamorous Coventry, released a joint statement.

“We are incredibly proud and excited to have worked together for the betterment of the LGBT+ community, CW Mind and Mental Health Awareness Week.

“Our combined efforts raised £600, which will go towards supporting vital mental health initiatives.

“The overwhelming support from our customers and the dedication of our staff has been truly heartwarming.

“By rallying for this important cause, we have not only raised funds but also raised awareness of mental health issues. Thank you to everyone who participated and helped make this initiative a success.”

Dee Hodgson, Peer Support Team Leader at CW Mind, said all money raised will go directly to Safe Haven, the crisis de-escalation service, which is available between 6pm and 11pm, seven days a week.
