The M4 crash has caused lane closures and heavy traffic near Bristol

One lane has been closed on the M4 following a crash this morning (Friday 14 June). There was heavy traffic on the westbound carriageway near Bristol.

According to traffic monitoring website Inrix, the closure was in place between junction 20 and junction 21. The lane reopened and traffic was back to normal by 10.30am.

Inrix says: “Traffic easing, previous accident on M4 westbound from J20 M5 J15 (Almondsbury Interchange) at J21 (M48 Interchange).”
