Second man arrested after “several shots fired” at home in Sheffield

A second man has been arrested in connection with a reported shooting in Sheffield.

There were reports of a firearm being discharged at a property on Gresley Road, Lowedges, at 10.38pm on Wednesday, April 24, with several shots being fired into the house.



No one was injured in the incident. A second man was arrested in connection with the incident on Wednesday (June 12).

The police arrested a 27-year-old man on suspicion of possessing a firearm with the intention of endangering life. He has been released on bail pending further enquiries.

Police made the first arrest in connection with the incident on Friday, May 31. A 25-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possessing a firearm with intent to endanger life.

He was also released on bail pending further enquiries. Anyone with information about this incident should call police on 101 quoting incident number 002 of April 24.
