Kate Middleton has been seen in public for the first time since the cancer update was published

Kate Middleton has been spotted making her first official public appearance since revealing to the world that she was undergoing cancer treatment. She was photographed in a car driving to the event with Prince William and their children.

She was later seen in a carriage as people braved the wet weather to watch the Trooping of the Color ceremony at Horse Guards Parade in London in honor of King Charles III’s birthday lea. In March, Kate released a statement saying she had undergone treatment. for illness for several weeks.




She has not been seen in any official roles since the announcement and missed engagements earlier in the year when she was hospitalized for abdominal surgery on January 16. She had initially said she would miss the event, before releasing an update yesterday (June 14) confirming she would attend.

Yesterday’s statement, which was a “personal message” from Kate, 42, said she was “making good progress” and felt buoyed by the support she had received from members of the public. She admitted she struggles some days and is “not out of the woods yet.”

Crowds of people gathered outside Buckingham Palace ahead of Trooping the Colour, many holding Union flags. Jane Ing, 61, said she traveled from Yorkshire with her husband and a friend to watch the royal procession through The Mall ahead of the ceremony.

She said: “The ceremony is part of our heritage. It’s an iconic parade and display of our royal family that we should be proud of and come to support.”

She added that it was “lovely” that the Princess of Wales had announced she would be attending. Political artist Kaya Mar was among the spectators gathered to watch the royal procession through the mall.
