Polestar opens eighth space in Sheffield’s Meadowhall

Polestar, the Swedish electric performance car brand, opened its eighth UK space in Sheffield’s Meadowhall shopping center on Friday 14 June, replacing its temporary pop-up location at the popular retail destination. The space will form part of Meadowhall Shopping Centre’s wide range of 310 shops, restaurants and leisure venues. The opening coincides with the arrival of the Polestar 3 and Polestar 4 later this year.

The Space, located on the first floor of the mall, has a sleek, minimalist design, complemented by seamless digital interactions and knowledgeable product specialists. Customers will have the freedom to customize their entire journey, from initial inquiry to delivery of their preferred Polestar model. On-site test drives will be available, with options for home or office deliveries.

Meadowhall Shopping Center has also helped promote electric vehicles by installing 30 charging points across the centre. In addition, it is home to the largest solar panel installation of any shopping center in the UK, comprising 3,418 panels covering 60,000 square metres. This installation generates 770,000 kWh of solar energy annually, equivalent to the electricity consumption of 230 average UK households. Sheffield City Council also created a Clean Air Zone last year in a bid to boost air quality in the city.
