New Royal Enfield 750cc bike that crosses 160 kmph » MotorOctane

While Royal Enfield is testing its new 750cc bike, it is gearing up to unveil it soon at EICMA 2017. This is the company’s first bike with a twin-cylinder engine in years. Royal Enfield is gearing up to launch an all-new bike not just in India but in other markets as well. A video has surfaced on YouTube showing how a Royal Enfield test bike went fast.

The bike has rear discs, there are likely chances of inverted forks and even the bike does not have rear ABS. The Bajaj Dominar 400 found it difficult to catch up with the RE 750cc most of the time when the test rider was going fast.

The bike reached a speed of 160 km/h and still seems to have a good amount of juice.

The new 750cc has been subjected to rigorous tests. Sightings are not very frequent and one of the Dominar 400 riders was behind the bike as a chase. The RE 750cc was moving fast through the Chennai traffic. Royal Enfield will not use the same chassis. This will be a new chassis that can handle a lot more power and torque. If you watch the video carefully, the bike handles well.

Despite being at speeds of around 150-160 km/h and more often than not 100, it was ahead of the Dominar not only in speed but also on par in terms of handling.

The Bajaj Dominar 400 comes with a 373cc engine that produces around 34bhp of power and similar torque. It is clear that the RE 750cc is faster and much more powerful. We expect it to have good handling as well. The RE will be launched for the first time in the European market, it seems.
