Pensioner robbed of bank cards near Scott Arms

Police are investigating after a pensioner was robbed at an ATM. The victim was said to have been withdrawing money from the TSB ATM near the Scott Arms, off Walsall Road, just before 11am on Saturday when she was approached by thieves who took her cards.

The police went to the scene, but were unable to find the criminals. They are now analyzing the CCTV.




There are several ATMs along the stretch of shops along Walsall Road near the Scott Arms junction.

A spokeswoman for West Midlands Police said: “We are investigating after a woman had her bank cards stolen in Walsall Road, Great Barr, just before 11am today (Saturday). Officers attended and a search was carried out but the offenders left. area.
