Bristol Sounds 2024: Everything you need to know including headliners, tickets and banned items

While many people will be counting down the days until Glastonbury Festival right now, for those of us in Bristol (especially those who weren’t lucky enough to get a ticket this year) it’s Bristol Sounds from 2024 on which we look forward to.

The event, which runs from June 22-30 at the Harborside Amphitheatre, boasts a stellar line-up featuring some of the biggest names in the music world. From Skindred to Busted, Placebo to James Arthur and Annie Mac, some of this year’s dates include full days of performances as well as food and drink and ‘summer festival/party vibes’.

When and where is Bristol Sounds this year?

Bristol Sounds 2024 takes place at Canons Marsh Amphitheater (Canons Way, Bristol, BS1 5LL), known locally as Lloyds Amphitheater. The event runs from June 22-30, with different artists performing on different dates.

Who’s playing – and when?

Here’s the full list of headliners each day of the event, as well as when doors open and checkpoints are set up each day:

  • June 22 – Skindred: Doors open at 2:00pm and the resort is at 11:00pm
  • June 23 – Gentlemans Dub Club: Doors open at 1pm and the venue is at 10.30pm
  • June 26 – James Arthur: Doors open at 6:00 p.m. and the resort is at 10:30 p.m.
  • June 27 – Ruined: Doors open at 6:00 p.m. and the resort is at 10:45 p.m.
  • June 28 – Placebo: Doors open at 6:00 p.m. and the resort is at 10:30 p.m.
  • June 29 – Annie Mac: Doors open at 2:00 p.m. and the resort is at 11:00 p.m.
  • June 30 – The Breeders: Doors open at 1:00 p.m. and the resort is at 10:30 p.m.
