Barnet Walking Football Team raise £500 for Harrow Carers

Barnet Walking Football Team, based at Barnet FC’s The Hive in Camrose Avenue in Edgware, successfully raised £500 for Harrow Carers during an evening of charity games.

The event, held as part of National Carers Week, aimed to support unpaid carers facing physical, mental, social and financial challenges. Without adequate support, these carers risk becoming patients themselves.

Thanks are extended to Barnet FC, Alex and Oliver and The Hive chef Paul for their contributions in providing excellent food and service. Special thanks also went to Remo Beschizza for organizing the tennis and football tables.

Participants enjoyed activities such as table tennis, crazy golf and KerPlunk, adding to the fun spirit of the evening regardless of their performance in the table football tournament.

Funds raised were presented to Harrow Carers at their premises on Pinner Road, HA2 6DZ.
