TORONTO – A retired skilled worker from Winchester is half a million dollars richer.

Michael “Mike” Prusila won the prize in the lottery game “The Big Spin” after routinely picking up a $20 instant lottery ticket from a local gas station.

Prusila describes himself as a casual lottery player on games such as Lotto Max and Lotto 6/49.

He had to visit the OLG Awards Center in Toronto to spin the big wheel, where he came away with $500,000.

“It’s surreal. I am happy and I feel good. I would love to do it again,” he told lottery officials. “I love this game and it was good.”

He plans to buy his wife a new car and travel while he invests the rest.
