EPL: Managerless Leicester City see Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as Maresca’s replacement

Leicester City are on the verge of hiring former Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer ahead of the next English Premier League season, according to the UK Sun.

The former Manchester United manager has been out of work since leaving Old Trafford in November 2021.

Solskjaer has been linked with several roles since then, but has chosen not to settle for less.

The 51-year-old was also expected to be announced as Besiktas coach earlier this month after holding talks with the Turkish side in January. Former Rangers boss Giovanni van Bronckhorst was appointed instead.

However, it seems that he could now replace Enzo Maresca at the King Power Stadium.

Maresca joined Chelsea on a five-year deal, replacing Mauricio Pochettino.
