A pedestrian dies after being fatally hit by a car in Croydon

A pedestrian has died following a collision in Croydon on Sunday 16 June.

Police said through their media channels that a man, who has not yet been formally identified, is believed to have been fatally struck by a vehicle on Dorset Road, near the Leigh Road junction, at around 10.45am.

The driver of the vehicle stopped at the scene.

The exact circumstances surrounding the collision have not yet been established and investigations remain ongoing.
