Gwyneth Paltrow texts Kate Middleton about Trooping the Color appearance

Princess of Wales Kate Middleton made a triumphant return to the public eye at Saturday’s Trooping the Color ceremony, prompting an outpouring of messages of support. Among the many celebrities who sent him messages was actress Gwyneth Paltrow.

Ms Paltrow, who is said to be close friends with Meghan Markle, took to social media to congratulate the Duchess of Cambridge on her return to public life. The appearance marked Kate’s first public appearance this year after being diagnosed with cancer.




She attended King Charles’ birthday parade and revealed her treatment is ongoing, experiencing “good days and bad days”. The future queen was pictured in a carriage with her children Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis. She also appeared on the balcony of Buckingham Palace with the rest of the royal family for the RAF flyover.

Following the celebrations, the Prince and Princess of Wales shared a series of photos on Instagram, thanking fans for “making it a day to remember”, the Express reports. The post received nearly 1.5 million likes and thousands of comments, including one from Ms. Paltrow.

The actress’ comment, which has garnered more than 5,300 likes, read: “So happy to see you looking so happy and well (heart emoji).” Ms Paltrow had previously sent well wishes to Kate in March when the Royal first announced her cancer diagnosis. At the time, she wrote on social media: “A pillar of grace and strength! I send love”.
