New Coventry festival Caribbean Reggae Fever auctions to sell booze

Organizers of a new Caribbean festival coming to Coventry this summer have applied for permission to sell alcohol. Signs have been spotted on lampposts around the city’s War Memorial Park.

This is where the new Caribbean festival known as Caribbean Reggae Fever will take place. The signs are permit applications made to the city council.

They are from the Coventry Reggae Fever Community Interest Company. The application requires permission to sell alcohol between 11am and 10pm on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

The new location’s license application has been submitted to the town hall’s licensing team. Details of it can be found on the council’s website and any comments on it must be made by June 28.
