“Your safety and the security of your property are our top priorities,” police said, “and we need your help to address this matter effectively.”

Police advised to always lock an unattended vehicle and ensure the windows are closed “even if you are leaving the vehicle for a few minutes”.

“An unlocked vehicle is an easy target,” police said.

Police also urged residents to talk to their neighbors about the increase in burglaries to help increase their vigilance, report any suspicious activity to Peabody Police at 978-531-1212 or [email protected] and share images with police home security that include any suspicious activity.

“Together, we can keep our community safe,” police said.
