Review of school plan lighting to mitigate safeguarding issues

In a planning application for external lighting, the school told Cornwall Council: “St Stephens Community Academy is a primary school serving families in the Launceston area. As well as providing mainstream teaching, the school has one of eleven Area Resource Bases (ARBs) in Cornwall, which provide specialist teaching for children with severe learning difficulties. The school has a higher than average number of students with disabilities or special educational needs.
