Palace reluctant to part with England defender

The former Chelsea centre-back is also believed to have attracted interest from Arsenal and Liverpool after impressing during his time at Palace.

However, the Eagles are still keen to retain the quarterback’s services, especially as they face a battle to keep Michael Olise and Eberechi Eze.

With Guehi set to enter the final two years of his contract, Palace are hoping to agree a 12-month extension that would at least put them in a stronger position if it comes to negotiating a potential sale.

The 23-year-old has been named in England’s Euro 2024 squad after making a career-high 25 Premier League appearances last season.

Guehi played throughout Sunday’s 1-0 win over Serbia and is likely to start his country’s second group game against Denmark on Thursday.
