Shop detergent

Locations: Truro, Redruth, Newquay, St Austell, Wadebridge, Bodmin, Liskeard

Description: This role will help you take care of things like removing litter and debris from the car park and loading area, washing external windows and glass doors or ensuring trolleys are clean and free of litter.

Pay: £12.00 per hour

Shops for starting a career

Locations: Redruth, Newquay, St Austell, Wadebridge, Bodmin, Liskeard

Description: This early career apprenticeship allows you to learn something different every day in a fast-paced environment. Balancing theory with practical shop work, you’ll be expected to work hard on this year-long programme. By the end of the year, you’ll be able to gain a Level 2 Retail qualification and work as a full-fledged shop assistant with real opportunities for future progression.

Pay: £8.44 per hour

Shop assistant

Locations: Redruth, Newquay, Camborne, St Austell, Wadebridge, Bodmin, Liskeard

Description: You’ll do everything from checking deliveries to resolving queries or making sure the shelves are fully stocked with well-presented products. You will also provide excellent customer service at all times, responding to customer needs in a prompt and friendly manner.

Pay: £12.40 – £13.35 per hour

Store Management Apprentice

Locations: Redruth, Newquay, Camborne, St Austell, Wadebridge, Bodmin, Liskeard

Descriptions: Balancing theory with practical shop work, you’ll be expected to work hard on this three-year programme. By the end of the three years you will be able to gain a Level 3 Retail Team Leader qualification and work as a fully fledged Assistant Store Manager with real opportunities for future progression.

Pay: £8.44 – £11.83 per hour

Deputy Director

Locations: Newquay, St Austell, Wadebridge, Bodmin

Description: In the absence of the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager, you will be fully responsible for the store, gaining valuable experience to help you take the next step into management. It means you’ll tackle everything from ordering inventory to training employees, and from checking product displays to delivering sales targets.

Pay: £13.65 – £14.60 per hour (You will also receive an additional bonus of £4.00 per hour while running the shop)

Stock assistant

Locations: St Austell, Wadebridge, Bodmin, Liskeard

Description: In this role you will need to minimize stock losses, assist with stock counts, check deliveries and ensure shelves are fully stocked with attractive and well presented products. You will also need to provide excellent customer service at all times, responding to customer needs in a prompt and friendly manner.

Pay: £12.00 per hour

You will find plenty of challenges and with them the thrill of seeing your hard work pay off; achieving goals, solving problems and promoting the team to reach their full potential.

Pay: £46,000 – £62,000 per annum
