HOLLIDAYSBURG, Pa. (WTAJ) – Undercover police bragging about drugs — and the people who come to him when they allegedly need the stuff — landed an Altoona man in jail over the weekend.

In March, members of the state police and drug task force went undercover to Shan Nicole’s bar in Hollidaysburg. O’Connor allegedly walked into the bar that night and introduced himself to undercover officers, not knowing who they were, according to the charges filed.

O’Connor began bragging about how he was the guy everyone came to if they needed anything, the criminal complaint states. He then told them he had an ounce of cocaine and $10,000 in his pocket at that very moment.

A few hours later, O’Connor left the bar and one of the undercover officers followed. According to the complaint, the officer agreed to pay O’Connor $80 for a gram of cocaine. Officers said they returned to the station afterward and the item tested positive for cocaine.

In May, undercover officers went to O’Neill’s bar, where he met O’Connor again. After reminding them who they were, O’Connor allegedly agreed to sell one of them another gram of cocaine for $100. The deal did not take place that night, but took place on June 1, the charges state.

On June 14, the Blair County Drug Task Force said they saw O’Connor in a Chevy Colorado. It was stopped because of the tint on the windows. According to the probable cause statement, O’Connor alerted police that he had a gun in the truck. He was asked to leave Colorado and was wanted. Police said two baggies of suspected cocaine were found in his pants pocket, and a Smith and Wesson 9mm semi-automatic handgun with nine rounds was inside the truck.
