B&M appeals as police investigate theft of leaf blower and hedge trimmer

Police have issued a picture of a man who may have information about the theft of a petrol leaf blower and hedge trimmer from a B&M store. It happened at a branch in Ninian Way, Wilnecote, Tamworth, at around 1.15pm on April 13.

Staffordshire Police released an image of a man wearing sunglasses and a black jumper and dark shoes.

A Tamworth Police spokesman said: “We have released an image of a man we would like to speak to following a theft from a shop in Tamworth. At around 1.15pm on April 13, a man entered B&M on Ninian Way, Wilnecote and left. with a petrol leaf blower and a hedge trimmer he hadn’t paid for.

“He was wearing sunglasses, gray pants, a black sweater and dark shoes. Following the theft, we believe he left in a silver Smart car.
