Newcastle United look to raid Leeds United

Eddie Howe plans to make a number of additions after being stung by the squad’s lack of depth when injuries hit last season.

The Magpies have just signed defender Lloyd Kelly on a free transfer after his contract with Bournemouth expired and are looking to do more business.

They are weighing up a move for Leeds striker Crysencio Summerville, who is wanted by several Premier League clubs.

A wide forward is on Howe’s watchlist and Newcastle believe Summerville fits the bill.

They are also considering Crystal Palace winger Michael Olise.

Olise is wanted by both Chelsea and Manchester United and landing him could prove difficult.

Brighton are currently mulling a move to sign Summerville from Leeds and Newcastle could back in to see off competition from the Seagulls.
