‘Extremely rare’ Leicester have arrived at the auction with advantages

An “extremely rare” pitch in Leicester will be affected this month. The auctioneers are urging potential buyers to inquire about the “gorgeous building lot” before the auction.

SDL Property Auctions says the site, which is at the back of St Johns Street in Leicester’s Stoneygate, is not only in a “highly desirable” location but comes with a built-in advantage.

Measuring 0.12 acres, the site already has planning permission for a ‘large’ four bedroom detached house. However, this permission must not be acted upon, allowing the green space to be used for other purposes.

Access to the site is provided directly from Laureston Drive. Stoneygate, which is south of Leicester city centre. SDL says the suburb also boasts “trendy” shopping areas nearby, off Allandale Road and Francis Street, and easy public transport links make the city easy to get to.

The offer has been labeled ‘extremely rare’ by the auctioneers due to prior planning permission. They say it is an “ideal location” to build a family home, with the approved scheme also offering “ample parking” and a “good-sized” garden. If buyers go ahead with the four-bed home, it could also be spec’d to include two en-suite bathrooms, a kitchen/diner, a study and a playroom.

A guide price of £275,000 plus tax has been set ahead of the pitch going under the hammer on Thursday 30 May. More information can be found on the SDL Property Auctions website.
